Jasmine O'Brien: Coach

Jazz started her athletic career in High School where she ran Track and Field. Her events include: the long jump, triple jump, 100m, 200m, and 400m. Jazz also managed to compete at the varsity level in Volleyball.

While she excelled in all sports, it was the sport of soccer that she truly shined. She earned Varsity all four years, was selected as Maui Interscholastic League Captain and First Team All Star Junior and Senior year. After High School, she was selected by Weber State University to place D1 Soccer. Unfortunately, the state of Utah wasn't all  it was cracked up to be (big surprise there), so Jazz transferred to CSUDH to play D2 Soccer for 3 years. She then graduated college with a degree in Business and Hospitality Management.

In her third year of College, Jazz found CrossFit. The first time she tried CrossFit was in the garage of a Navy Seal back in Hawaii. When she returned to CSUDH she came back to find TSAC, a new family, and a new sport that she quickly learned to love. Since then she has competed in numbers CrossFit competitions and continues to be active with recreational soccer.

Andy Paik: Head Coach

Skeptic turned CrossFit enthusiast.
Introduced to CrossFit by a friend early summer 2010 Andy did not immediately follow the buzz. His prior experience of health & fitness did not constitute of the contrived word and movement "thrusters" and cheating pull-ups (kipping). Like the mass majority he was more interested in bodybuilding and powerlifting.

Soon after, he came to realize that Crossfit held local and annual competitions, which eventually was the turning point for him - to be a competitor.

More than fitness, Andy has a passion for human interaction. Once pursuing a degree in Philosophy he has come to find that CrossFit is a fine gateway to introspection. He is determined to creating a fun and challenging atmosphere to all our members.
